by Moshe Hirschman
There has been a marked improvement in the condition of Rabbi Boruch Mordechai Ezrachi’s condition, a member of Degel HaTorah’s Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah. Last night, there was a large Tehillim rally at the Kosel to pray for his health. Rabbi Ezrachi is in the intensive care unit at the Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in Jerusalem.
The Rosh Yeshiva’s close associate, Rabbi Yaakov Grosbard, announced this morning that “God willing, tonight there was a marked stabilization and improvement in the Rosh Yeshiva’s medical condition. However, we would like to continue to pray for his speedy and full recovery.”
The Rosh Yeshiva is still under sedation and is still on a ventilator, but his condition is stable.
Rav Ezrachi learned in both the Chevron Yeshiva as well as under Rav Dovid Soloveitchik zt”l. he has written numerous seforim on Chumash, Gemorah, Halacha and the Yomim Tovim and Machshava, called Birchas Mordechai.
All Bnei Torah are asked to strengthen themselves in Torah study for the complete healing of the Rosh Yeshiva of the elders of the generation.
